October is:

Scavenger Hunt!

This month, our goal is to encourage everyone to play the CPR Scavenger Hunt game! The game challenges you to go out and find runoff reducing items around your neighborhood. It's a fun way to see how Bay friendly your neighborhood is and to learn how simple and common items/fixtures can make a big difference to the health of the Bay. It's also a great way to get outside and explore with your keiki or students!

How Do I Play?

1) Read through the CPR Scavenger Hunt Sheet below

2) Find at least 3 of the listed items around your neighborhood (not at your own house or apartment)

3) Snap a picture of your finds

4) Upload your pictures to instagram (@CPRMaunalua) or to this website (Submit Proof of Action) for your monthly prize!

How do these things reduce runoff?

Curious about how and why these items/fixtures reduce runoff? Read on!

Made some changes to your downspout? Awesome! Snap a pic and:

Finished the Hunt?

The CPR Campaign is led by a consortium of community organizations, agencies, and businesses who are working together to promote education and inspire action to reduce storm and urban runoff within the community in the Maunalua Bay region.
